I was only at Whitgift for 1year before my parents and I went back to Scotland. I, courtesy of the then headmaster, Mr. Marlar, introduced to Glasgow Academy, a school with similar to Whitgift. Both schools believed in developing the skills of the individual - education in addition to teaching.

 My family and I were very fortunate to benefit from a partial bursary when I was at Whitgift in the 1970s. I am therefore particularly pleased to be able to provide, through the Whitgift For All project, a contribution to help support present-day and future pupils of the School.

 As a member of staff and a previous bursary parent I am aware of the fantastic things that Whitgift For All can bring to a student. It’s a fabulous initiative and I am very proud to be part of it!
