  The Whitgift Community Summer School Project is close to my heart as I taught many Japanese taster lessons as part of the Whitgift Primary Project. I experienced first hand how much students from surrounding primary schools enjoyed being part Whitgift for a week.

 I benefited from a scholarship during my time at Whitgift (1969-1976). I have an inheritance from my godfather, and have decided to make this donation, to "pay it forward" and therefore enable others to benefit in the same way as I did.
